O.K., time to throw my hat in the ring (lol), I too am a descendant of Capt. D. and Ann Borodell through their daughter Ann who m. Gershom Palmer.....also a descendant of Capt. D and Bridget Thompson through their daughter Sarah who m. Thomas Stanton..... then to complicate matters, William Stanton son of Thomas and Sarah Denison Stanton m. Anna Stanton dau. of Robert and Joanna Gardiner Stanton.....Thomas and Robert were the sons of Thomas Stanton I who was one of the first planters of Stonington, Ct.

Capt. D. was at the battle of York, or Marston Moor, where he did good service, and was taken a prisoner. He escaped and was nursed back to health by Ann Borodell.

This was taken from the book the Ancestors and Descendants of Timothy Seymour Lull, compiled by Connie Lull Frey and Carmen W. Missildine. I am not sure which reference they got their material from, but they cite several from Ct. and Stonington and the area surrounding.
