There always seems to be confusion between Johannes Bast and Johannes Wilhelm Bast (William Bost)
GROOM: William Bost BRIDE: Catherine Goodhart
RECORD TYPE: Marriage Bond DATE: 19 Jan 1762
BONDSMEN: William Williams and John Johnston
WITNESSES: Will Reed & Willm Carson
COUNTY: Anson
SOURCE TYPE: Marriage Bond
Don't know why people keep calling Catherine - "Susanna Catherine'
Johannes Base (the elder) married (second wife) Susannah Catharina Moyer" she was the daughter of Elias Meyer & Anna Catherine Unknown.
Elias MOYER immigrated to the US from Prussia (now Germany). He arrived in Philadelphia, Pa on 11 Aug 1732. He, his wife, and children were among the passengers aboard the ship "Samuel".
Elias warrented 100 acres of land in Bucks County, Pa on 11 Feb 1737.
The surname spelling was Moyer, Meyer, or Meier in the records in Pa; it is often spelled Moyer or Moyers when referring to Elias' sons in NC.
