I tried again to gain access to the MA Draft Registration Cards for WW1 and they are still in a mess at Ancestry.com because there are 580 images under M that is still missing. Some of the other letters are likewise missing for whatever reason.
But, when you search for data you do get the pretext data to tease you about the draft card images on Ancestry.com.
It is important to see the actual card to get some idea of where he was living and working on the one of three dates that required men to register depending on the birth date range according to the law.
Considering that his age is missing as well as occupation, nearest relative, registration place, height, build, color of eyes, color of hair, and his actual signature.
All we have until we see the actual card for the most part is in his handwriting as well is his name: Wilson MAHAR, city of North Adams, Berkshire County, MA, USA.
He lists his birthdate on this form as 22 JAN 1895 and on his Social Security Application he says he was born 21 JAN 1895.Must have been one of those babies born at midnight.
