Still not sure on the 1920 census record I earlier sent, but here is your Grandfather Murl Botkin in 1910 census -- with his parents Clarence Elwin Botkin (b Aug 1854) and Mary Crow (b Sept 1860), and some siblings. Also, I have found his brother Charles in Electra, Wichita, Texas in 1920 census (that place was listed on your grandfather Murl's WWI Draft registration). I've also found some later Texas records for a Vernon C. Botkin, in right age bracket, but not sure he's your Murl's brother Vernon C (probably he is, though). I look forward to hearing from you on whether what I'm finding matches any other pieces of info you have.

1910 Census, Andover Twp, Ashtabula County, Ohio, page 11B
Botkin, Clarence E., head, 55, m1 30yrs, OH OH OH, farmer, general farm
Mary, wife, 48, m1 30yrs, 9 children, 9 living, OH OH OH
Vernon C., son, 20, OH
Murl C., son, 11, OH
Harry W., son, 9, OH
Noble M., son, 6, OH
Beulah G., daughter, 3, OH
