My name is Robert Botkin, and my grandfather was Lawrence Andrew Botkin, and I was hoping to find out a bit more about my family history. I'm not sure of where he was born, but I do know that he lived in Pennsylvania at one time, and was a mechanical engineer. He served in the navy during WWII, and was married to Dorothy (Butner) Botkin. He had at least one brother I know of, who I think died young. He attended the University of Michigan and the Missouri School of Mining and Metalurgy. If anyone has any information, please don't hesitate to contact me as I can dig up some more information from his obituary (unfortunately he passed in 2005).
