The middle name Green came from John's ggrandmother, Amey Green b. 1720, d. before 1808, married Capt. Edward Mosely, b. May 4, 1718, d. 1808 in Charlotte County Virginia. Their daughter Elizabeth married Richard Bouldin, John Green Bouldin's grandfather.
