I understood that Elizabeth Bouling who married Richard Powell, Sr. and was mother of his children was the daughter of Richard Bouling. She married William Ellis (mentioned in will)after Richard Powell died (1658) and finally John Ferebee, by whom she had NO children. Ferebee later married Elizabeth Joyce, who was mother of his children. See will of Richard Bouldin, dated July 14, 1668 and recorded January 18, 1669, Lower Norfolk County, VA. Book E f. 68. By early 1670's she was married to John Ferebee. Elizabeth and John Ferebee witnessed the will of Martin Joyce in Lower Norfolk County, VA June 23, 1677. Joyce left a wife and 3 children under sixteen - one being Elizabeth Joyce. By about 1780, Elizabeth Bouling Powell Ellis Ferebee must have died. John Ferebee married the young daughter of Martin Joyce and she had seven children. I would welcome ancestors of Richard Bouling (spelling of will) and name of his first wife, who must be the mother of this Elizabeth Bouling (Powell-Ellis-Ferebee). His second wife was named Elizabeth (in will) and the infant that "sucks" in Richard Bouling's will was also Elizabeth. Does this all make sense to anyone?
