To: Amber Fayal:

Somehow, your message of Sept. 13, 1991, became lost in the hidden passageways of the computer, and I just came across it. I am posting this on the current page to make sure you see it.

If you grandfather, Jack Donald Bouldin’s father was Wade H. Bouldin, then there is no question that we have a match. Wade H. Bouldin was born about 1878 and his wife Ida, was born about 1881 in Illinois. They had the following children who were all born in Kansas (except for Jaunita): Vesta born about 1901; Mervin M. b. abt. 1903; Meril M. b. abt. 1904; Jaunita Lolita b. abt. 1907 in Texas & died in Alaska; Velma L. b. abt. 1914; JACK D. BOULDIN BORN ABOUT 1918 IN KANSAS.

Wade Bouldin was on of eight children born to William R. Bouldin (1851-1927) who married Nannie Elizabeth Richardson in Henry County, Va. They later settled in Texas.

Besides Wade, their children were:

Leonard Reid Bouldin who married Katherine Maria Bankey, settled in Texas;
Smith Eugene Bouldin who md. Maria Magdlinn Bankey; settled in Kansas;
William R. Bouldin, b. 1883, Drowned 1905 in Texas;
May Bouldin, married Charles Archibald Dowlen, settled in Texas;
Mattie D. Bouldin, married Marvin Leslie Jackson & settled in Amarillo.

Regards, Bruce

       Seek information on the family of Wade H. Bouldin, born ca. 1878, Clay Co., Kansas. Resided Clay Center, Kan. in 1927. His parents, William R. Bouldin (1851-1927) and Nannie Elizabeth Richardson (1845-1922) removed from Henry County, Va. to Kansas in the 1870's, and finally settled in Channing, Hartley County, Texas.

My original message: Wade H. Bouldin remained in Kansas and married Ida E. (maiden name unknown) who was born ca. 1881, Illinois. They are known to have had the following children: Vesta, Mervin M., Meril M., Jaunita Lolita, Velma L. and Jack D. Bouldin. Wish to exchange information.
