Thomas - Thanks for your reply. My dna test showed that I was a descendant of Thomas of the Swan. My great-great grandfather, Lewis (or Louis) was born about 1800 to (?). I can place him in the Quincy, Ill area about 1830. Before that, everything is a blur. I'm trying to find his family, (possibly from Haywood County Tennesee) and of course work out how he got from (?) to western Illinois. Anything you could do to help me fill in the blanks from 1610 to 1830 would be very helpful.

Thanks,

Barry Boling
