I am searching for ancesters of John Wesley BOLDIN
(b. 1843, Alexandria, VA d. 1908)
and his brother George W. Boldin (b. 1845,
Alexandria, VA., d. 1880). John Wesley's CW alias was John Boling.
George W.'s CW alias was George Boulden or Bouldin.
John Wesley Boldin was in Co. D., 3rd PA Cavalry (Union), and George
fought, also on the Union side, with the Eastern Shore MD Volunteers.
Family history says that 3 brothers arrived in the Port at Alexandria,
Va. - one stayed in the area (mine) and lost touch with the other
two. Also - that the name was spelled many different ways. They
were Irish, Scots-Irish or Irish/English.
John W. Boldin m. 1885 Ella Jane Donaldson.
George W. Boldin m. ? Alice Donaldson.
Children of John Wesley Boldin and Ella Jane Donaldson:
Bernard Eldridge Boldin (my Dad) and Charles Edmun(d) Boldin.
Any clues or information will be greatly appreciated!
