Hazel Boulier 1927-2010
BANGOR, MAINE - Hazel Marie Boulier, 83, wife of the late Norman E. Boulier Sr., died July 6, 2010, at a local hospital. She was born Feb. 6, 1927, in Bangor, daughter of Harley O. and June I. (Flagg) Scott. Hazel had been employed for many years at area shoe factories. Surviving are four sons, Norman Jr. and his wife, Joan, of Gray, Charles of Eddington, Allan and his wife, Debbie, of Dedham, and Robert and his wife, Lynn, of Levant; one daughter, Janet Bennett and her husband, Larry, of Etna; one sister, Patricia Gingles and her husband, Robert, of Colorado; sisters-in-law, Inez Scott of California and Betty Scott of Orrington; daughters-in-law, Carolyn Boulier of Bangor and Eleanor Boulier of Eddington; 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Norman, she was predeceased by a daughter, Barbara Boulier; a son, Paul; sisters, Evelyn Lahey and Frances Gingles; and brothers, Charles Scott and William Scott. Relatives and friends are welcome to call 5-7 p.m. Thursday, July 8, at Brookings-Smith, 133 Center St., Bangor, where a funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Friday, July 9, with the Rev. Robert T. Carlson officiating. Interment will be at Mount Hope Cemetery, Bangor.
