Al Bourdon Northern Ontario
I am looking for information on an Al Bourdon (b. abt 1900) who in 1930 would of been living in Northern Ontario (Cobalt, Timmins, Kapuskasing?) I know very little about him except that he had a relationship (did not marry) Dolores Lecetia Smith who in 1930 was probably living in Cobalt or Timmins. Her family came from Cobalt. Al and Dolores had a son Roger Smith who was born in 1931 in Sudbury, Ontario and was given up then to the orphanage. Dolores kept in contact with Roger and later told Roger that Al Bourdon was his father and that Roger's name is actually Keith Bourdon. Roger never had any contact with his father but it is believed that Mr. Bourdon knew about Roger. There is a family story that Al Bourdon died in Timmins drunk in an alley he froze to death. I would appreciate any direction.
Thanks Kelly Smith
