Bousman Family of Perry Co PA ca1820
Henry Bousman b: bet 1794-1802; Jacob Bousman b: before 1775 residing at Sayville, Perry Co, PA in 1820 (Perry Co formerly belonging to Cumberland Co)
In 1830, living at Sayville was: Henry Bousum b: bet 1760-1770; Jacob Bousum b: bet 1790-1800; and John Bousum b: bet 1800-1810. Nearby at Tyrone, Perry Co, PA was John Bousum b: bet 1780-1790.
I'm curious as to the family relationship and ancestry of these people. Was Jacob listed in 1820 the same Jacob who was a Leuitenant in the AmRev War fighting with the British? Was he the son of a William who received a parcel of land near Philadelphia? Was this Jacob the Jacob who operated a ferry boat? Any help on this family and how they fit together would be greatly appreciated.
