I'm not a BOUSTEAD researcher but have a 1915 biography taken from the History of Harrison Co. Iowa, for JOHN H.L. BOUSTEAD, born February 1847 in Northumberland England, son of JOHN and ISABELLA (BLAIN) BOUSTEAD, natives of England. John Sr. was a son of THOMAS B. and CATHERINE (TAYLOR) BOUSTEAD. The family came to America in 1868, arriving in New York on Oct 14 of that year. They came direct to Harrison Co., Iowa, where Mr. Boustead worked out by the month until he could save up enough money to buy a farm. John H.L. Boustead married in County Durham, England, to Fannie Hall, on Feb 24, 1873. She ws the daughter of Robert and Frances (Hardman) Hall. Her parents also came to America in 1870, locating in Harrison Co., Iowa. If anyone wants this bio, just e-mail me.
