BOUTCHER, 1800s +, Newfoundland

The town of Arnold's Cove, Newfoundland was founded by Jonathan and Matilda Boutcher in the early 1800s. My uncle has several photos/paintings of Jonathan. My grandfather used to say he looked like Rasputin!

I am descended from Jonathan (born in Newfoundland) by way of his daughter Emily, my gg-grandmother. Anyone else have a Newfoundland connection?
