Boutchers in UK 19th Century

I'm trying to trace my ancestors. All I know is about John Boutcher, who came from England before 1843. Possibly to the state of Connecticut where he married to Elizabeth Brice. In 1843 Ernest Boutcher, his son (or one of his kids) was born in the State of New York (in Long Island). That John Boutcher came to U.S.A. being about 9 years of age.
I'll appreciate any help.
