I had heard that somebody within the family had moved to Australia. I found a record from the passenger lists on that says an R. Boutcher departed from London to Melbourne in 1912, and that persons birthdate is the same as Reg's, so that could be him.
I could mail you the picture we have, as we have digital copies on the PC. I dont know whether you can on here or not, so if you want to give me your e-mail address, I could send it to you there? That also means pictures aren't getting posted about for everyone in the forum to see.
I don't know of any Mary Boutcher, but that's a name to add to my searches. I do know that Edward was a sign writer. There was a sister called Florence too...and Julia Howe went to live with her and her family after the boys had moved on.
I really appreciate you sharing your information with us, it's lovely having gaps filled in! Did you remember your Grandfather well? I can only imagine what he was like, but it is nice to hear things about him.
