You are from the Bowsher line that is a First Family in Auglaize and Allen Counties?!?! You will find that there were at least two German Bowsher lines in this area at the same time and they have a tendency to name their children the same names, making genealogy research difficult at times. I am from the other line of Bowshers in Auglaize/Allen Counties. My great-great-grandfather was Charles Lewis Bowsher, his parents were German immigrants, Charles Bowsher and Mary Planck. From what I can find the two families are not related, but I have just begun to find proof of my senior Charles Bowsher and Mary Planck's names. I know that there is a lot of information in the Allen County Museum Genealogy Library on your Bowsher line (I used to work there and had to file a lot of it! LOL) and I have been told by family that there is quite a bit of information in Wapakoneta and Cridersville in the libraries and museums there as well. Good luck!
