Thank you for writing. I always had the name Jacob W. Gibson (from censuses) but found Jacob Williamson Gibson online, which led me to find Mary Box. The Williamson family was in Prince William Co., VA and Barren Co., KY as well, if I remember right. I don't know what the connection is. I'm still researching this (don't quite believe in it yet). Mary Box is said to have been the daughter of Robert Box, and you say John Box was perhaps a brother of Robert. Very interesting. I'll stay in touch and see what I can find. I know there were quite a few Box men in an early census of Laurens Co., SC and then they scattered everywhere. There was later a Robert Gibson in Barren Co., KY, maybe a son or grandson of Robert Box, Sr., a relative of Mary. Thanks again.
