There is information that ties the Bolton family to the Box family by way of Mary Keys, widow of William Bolton, marrying Michael Box, (Sr.), probably in Orange Co. NC in 1783. I have no information as to the family relationships of Sarah Box or Elizabeth Bolton.

Adm. On Estate of Wm. Bolton decd. Granted to Mary Bolton, Bonds 300 pounds, Jacob Albright, Nicholas Gibbs.
Court of May 1782, 29 May 1782:
Inventory of Estate of Wm. Bolton Decd. returned on oath of /? Bolton, Admix.
Court of August 1782, 27 August 1782:
Acct. Of Estate of -?- Bolton duly returned by Mary Bolton (See 2 - 120 1/2)
Court of November 1783, 24 November 1783
29-175. Acc’t. Of Estate of Wm. Bolton proved by Sarah Box, Adm.
From South Carolina Archives On-Line: On 19 November 1784, Michael Box was issued a plat for 250 acres on Walnut Creek in Ninety Six District SC adjacent to Mrs. Box. Mrs. Box was probably Margaret Box, widow of Joseph Box and mother of Michael Box.
