Joseph,

My brother's dna is posted on ancestry.com. It's in the Box-Albert family. His name is Jon Arthur Box, born 10-28-43.

At your suggestion, I have been searching Joseph Box as a possible father to Jonathan Box (1769). I am collecting historical documents from Laurens area but have no proof as yet.

I also ran across a Laurens DNA project where Boxes are entering their dna data on a public database - ysearch.net. Mine has several matches to people who claim to be from one of the Robert Boxes. I am also in contact with a Thad Box whose dna indicates a most recent common ancestor in England. His people were in the Laurens area also.

Let me know if I can be of help in accessing the info.

Linda
