Linda,

The current paper trail we have for the Box family of South Carolina would suggest all Box males should have a very similar DNA profile for the Y chromosome. A non match would be of more significance.

The clues suggest the lines of Robert Box of Delaware, Virginia and South Carolina and Thomas Box of North Carolina and South Carolina are related. The lines of James Box and Phillip Box of Georgia seem to be different but we see no interaction of them with the South Carolina Boxes.

I was not able to find a reference to results in a Box family DNA project.
