Linda, There are 4 Box men in the DNA project with identical Y profiles in the available data base. According to Thad Box, three of them represent the lines of Stephen Box, John Morris Box, and a Robert Box (?). If the Robert Box is Robert Box of Franklin Co. TN who married Jane Goodwin, our paper trail has them all as brothers. If the 4th Box man is your brother and represents the line of Jonathan Box, Jonathan would be 1st cousin to the three brothers. There is no genetic distance between the 4 lines as far as the test go. Our paper trail would have all four as grandsons of Robert and Phillis Box of New Castle County, Delaware in 1728 and Laurens District, SC in 1771.
