no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.
Copies of the Memorials from the South Carolina Archives, indicate it was Robert Box, Junr. who made his mark "R" on the Memorial for the 150 acres on Raburns Creek in Laurens Co., SC. Robert Box, the elder, was granted 300 acres on Jackson Creek in what became Fairfied Co., SC. However, his Memorial was signed by Thomas Woodward who made his mark "T" for the Memorialist. When Robert Box, the elder, sold the 300 acres, he signed his named as Robert Box and the deed was witnessed by Robert Box, Junr. who made his mark "R". A second witness on the deed was William Allison, a neighbor of Robert Box, Junr. on Raburns Creek, and he made his mark "A".
