I research genealogies of families and friends- I had
began researching on the name Bruso- for a friend at
my church. She informed me that her father-in-law,
Milford 3-2-1918 Highgate, Vermont-November 15, 1973
had a brother that was a famous
boxer and that his name was Noah, but he went by Tommy
Burns during his boxing career, because his parents
did not want him to box, and she was hoping I could find some information of him in my search.
She told me that Milford and Noahs' parents names
were Oliver Bruso/Martha G. Hemingway. I have no proof
other than this. I have the 1880/1900/1910/1920 on Oliver
and his family- but Noah was born 1881- and he is gone
by the 1900 Census- so my source of information is from
the family....................................Elizabeth
