Hi,
I am looking for any information that might lead me to confirmation that my great grandfather William Basil Anderson fought in the Boxer Rebellion. He enlisted with 6th Cavalry H company in Boise ID in 1899 and was released from service Oct 1902. His enlistment record is obscured and I can make out much more except that a LT Ryan was his enlisting officer. I've sent a request to NARA , but are there any free sites that might have more info?
