Thanks for your note. The Henry Boyers in whom I am interested was born around 1819 and was village blacksmith in Bilsby, Lincolnshire. About a dozen years back I took a few days off work and toured around that area. The old blacksmith's shop had then just recently been converted into a house.

Henry married Hannah Crust somewhere around 1840 and their son, my great-grandfather, George Boyers was born in Bilsby in April 1843. From there they migrated north first to Teesside, and later across country to Barrow-in-Furness.

I have no idea whether there were other brothers who might have moved into other parts of the county. I've been hoping that through this forum I might just find someone who knows about Boyers families in Lincolnshire in the very early 19th century. Nothing yet, but with patience ...... !
