I suspect that you may well be right that the early 19th century Boyers in Lincolnshire were the first in that county.

I'm still searching for Henry Boyers, born around 1820. According to his 1881 census form (in Barrow-in-Furness) he was born in Bilsby, Lincs. I wonder if anyone knows where to access the Bilsby registers.
