Christopher Bayer (Johann Christoph Beyer) b. ca. 1677 Gruenstadt, Dackeram, Palatinate, Germany, d. aft. 1751 PA. Came to US on the ship _Pennsylvania Merchant_ landing at Philadelphia 11 Sep 1731; with him were his wife and children. Their son John Henry Bayer b. 26 May 1724 Dackenheim, Palatinate, Germany, d. 2 May 1814 Amityville, Berks Co., PA; m. Feb 1746 Maria Magdalena Kerger. Their son Conrad Boyer b. 20 Nov 1748 Montgomery Co., PA, d. 13 Apr 1827 Montgomery Co., PA; m. May 1770 Anna Elizabeth Seidel b. 14 Apr 1745, d. 11 Jun 1837. Their daughter Catharine Boyer b. 4 Apr 1779, d. 22 Aug 1838; m. Montgomery Co., PA 31 Aug 1797 Henry Keely b. 20 Apr 1773, d. 24 Apr 1842; both are buried Boyertown, PA.
