Liz ,all our family comes from Linconshire back to John who was married in 1795. However we can`t find his birth record and it has been suggested that he may have been from outside the county,possibly South Yorks. or Lancashire. There are large numbers of Boyers in Lancashire and also in and around Sheffield.I guess he could have been connected to the family you are looking for?
