Hello Hans,

I notice that your Boyke family comes from the same area in Poland/Prussia as mine, Kries Lauenburg. I have yet to study a map but the names of Pison, Merzinke & Danzig also appear (in the Wischnowsky line - I do not have any info on the Boyke line other that the name of Wilhemina).

My Wilhemina Boyke married Carl Ferdinand von Wischnosky, they came to New Zealand in about 1875. Names of their children (all born in NZ although they apparently married in Prussia) are Otto, Edith, Julius Wilhelm, Elizabeth Emma Helen, Carl Ernest, Helena Mathilde Caroline (my great Grandmother), Hugo Henry Herman, Arthur Walter, Meta, Edward Berthold & Rubina Mabel. Do any of these names appear within your family tree, some of the names are definately from the Wischnowsky side but others are not found anywhere.

I look forward to hearing from you,
Cassandra
