BOYKIN, Edward, fl bef 1746 SC Pee Dee River
Posted by: Winnie Gilreath Westbury (ID *****2709) Date: May 16, 2007 at 12:29:42
  of 1547

I would appreciate any comments about any of the individuals mentioned in the following online plat abstract:

http://www.archivesindex.sc.gov/search/details.asp?index=91084&table=AllArchivalData&tableLook=MainIndex

BABER, James
BUCKLES, Jacob
BOYEKIN, Edward
WEGGINS, Samuel
ROACH, Henry

It seems that Edward BOYKIN was a miller (or owner of a grist mill).

James BABER seems to have been a (swineherder?) man with hogs.

Jacob BUCKLES appears to be the Capt BUCKLES mentioned in a 1745/1746 SC petition by Edward BOYKIN.

Any comments will be greatly appreciated.
