Lyn, Austin is buried in the New Hopewell Cemetery in Hopewell, NJ (alone). The cemetery appears to have been a Norcross family cemetery at one time for there are mostly Norcross' buried there. William's stone is there, however, Ted Bozarth (Bozarth Beacon) told me he does not think that William is actually there (???). While his records indicate that he (Austin) died in Williamsburg, VA, why he was brought back to NJ is a mystery. His son John Hammond has a large plot in Elwood Cemetery in Elwood, NJ but his father, for whatever reason is not buried there. We have never pursued William Austin's burial site as it took 2 years to find Austin. BTW, Anna Miller and her sons by Austin are all buried in Williamsburg. As for Abigail Downs, William Austin's bible records note her death, but not her place of burial. The only info we have on her is the names of her parents and her children etc, by William Austin. As far as we have been able to discern William Austin's father was William, whose father was Samuel, whose father was Simon, whose father may have been Jean Bossard.
