Two brothers, John and Jonathan came from france with the expodition of Baron DeKalb to assist in the American rovolution. Tis letter writen by Joseph Preston Bozarth, Jonathan was his grandfather. He was gran ted lan d in Ky. My grandfather was rewarded for his service to USA with a gift of 560 acres of land in what was then Kentucky, Va. He meet Mary Hargis. are we talking about the same fa mily.
