John BOZARTH 1714 - from NJ to VA
Posted by: JayCee Date: July 27, 2000 at 08:30:25
  of 915

I recently had a chance meeting with Raymond Leander Jr. BOZARTH at Bordentown Cemetery in Bordentown, NJ. During our conversation, he said that family tradition has it that the reason John s/o Simon left NJ and went to VA is that he got into a fight and killed a man. No charges were brought because it was a fair fight, but John and family left shortly afterward.

This is the second time I have heard this story from an "older" Bozarth - can anyone comment, confirm or deny?
