Feb. 25, 1926 Mrs. Sarah Campbell dies at age 71. Deceased was born in Hamilton County, Illinois March 3, 1854.
Sarah Jane Fairweather the daughter of John and Mary Fairweather, was born in Hamilton County, Illinois. March 3, 1854; died at Brumley, Feb. 17, 1926 at the age of 71 years, 11 months, and 14 days.
She was united in marriage to Stephen B. Bozarth in the year of 1873. To this union five children were born, namely: Mrs. Belle Martin of Brumley, Mrs Lulu Hughes of Josquin, Texas; Mrs. Bertha Dickerson, Charles L. Bozarth of McLeansboro, Illinois; and Dr. J. A. Bozarth of Los Angeles, California.
She later married to Wm. Campbell, and to this union one daughter was born, Mrs. Elmer Thompson of Brumley, with whom she has made her home for the past fifteen years.
She professed faith in Christ at an early age and at the time of her death was a member of the M.E. church at Webb's Chapel near McLeansboro.
The two sons and Mrs. Elmer Thompson survive, the three older daughters having preceded her in death. She leaves to mourn their loss, two sons, one daughter, twenty grandchildren and five great grand-children, also one sister Mrs. Lottie Vamey of M-oughton, Illinois and a brother G.W. Fairweather of Norris City, Illinois.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. C. Thompson at the Baptist
This is where my copy of the e-mail ends from MJames It starts with Miller Co. Autogram. I think some of this can be found at MOMILLER-L@rootsweb.com. The time was Dec. 16. 1999 at 11:30 PM. It appears this may have been forwarded to me from one of my Davis family that knows I do Bozarth research. Does this help anyone?
