Gean Bossard & Margaretha Mullin

Hi all Bozarth/Bozorth researchers and descendants. I would like to clear up a common error that has been made in connection to Jean BOSSARD. The facts are a Johann Boussart married Margaretha Muller/in OF Westhoffen the legitimate daughter of Hanns Muller by before 24 March 1691. The promise of marriage reads, "Margaretha Muller von Westhoffen" von translated from the French is "of". Von with the capital V would indicate an aristocratic name for a person owning an estate named Westhoffen, and it would have been Hanns Muller (Margaretha's father) that carried that name. Also, While Johann Boussart, burgher of Strasbourg, may be the Jean Bossard who arrived in VA via England 9 years later, this is still only conjecture on the part of serious researchers. The Date of Birth and Date of Marriage of our Simon is undocumented as are the names of his parents.
If anyone would like a copy of the Promise of Marriage (it is not a marriage record) along with the translation into English I would be happy to send it for SASE. E-mail me for address. Thank you.
