Let me speak for one of the family in Mo. I am the G. Grand daughter of Hester Ann Bozarth Essary. She lived in Taney County, MO. She was born in Nebraska. My Uncle Paul said he remembered her saying there was a family feud. It was either a major argument that would end in murder, or had already something to do with murder. She never did give the whole story on it what really did happen. I was a teen when she died and I remember her. I just did not talk to her about her heritage. My Uncle is old enough to have gained some more information. She would never tell any thing beyond that simple sentence. We never did learn anything more. It may have had to do with property and a fight there. We are not sure. Only speculation. Must be a real good one to have split a family, and it did, according to what she told my Uncle and others when she would mention it. Some family fights are over strange things. But why MO. the family left over some family feud. Closed mouths are sometimes hard to combat.
