Sarah D. child of Valentine, Iowa

I was contacted for proof of information on some of my Bozarth family. Wanted to know some source or proof of the children of this couple as he was her deceased husband's great-grandfathers brother. So maybe something more besides the Beacon, decided to search the census for something to send to the person, as I had not done any on this paticular family group. Much of my info comes from Bozarth Beacon, that I used to get, and from the internet from someone sharing. A long way around to exlain, a census search on James Givens that I show married to Sarah D. Bozarth daughter of Valentine Bozarth I got some unexpected info.
Census of 1860 Wapsinonoc Township, Muscatine County, Iowa.
Valentine Bozarth, 56, b. VA.
Rebecca, 56, b. VA.
Nancy, 22, b. VA
Sarah, 20, b. Iowa
Mary, 14, b. Iowa
John Drake farm hand 35, born Illinois
August Parsons 7 b. Iowa

I show Sarah married to James in 1870 so this was pre wedded bliss time.

But same census, township, county etc. gave me this information.
James Givens, 29, b. Ohio
Mary, 29, b. PA.
George, 2, b. Iowa
Sophia, 3/12,b. Iowa
Joseph Gabriel, 25, farm labor b. Md.
Sarah Byesing (spelling ?) 14, b. unknown.

Either this is not the same Givans or he was married before, and what happened with the family before Sarah.
A census search didn't come up with him, and her in the 1870. I could not find any of the children I have for them either. I tried a census search on the names of them. Could anyone shed the light of day on this one?
Thanks. Judy
