"In the spring of 1819, John Bozarth came from Grayson Co., KY and opened a small farm in the are of present LaGrange, MO. He was accompanied by his son-in-law John FINLEY and his son Squire Bozarth, and was the first white settler of Lewis Co. (MO)."
This comes from information I received concerning John Finley. That's for the additional information you included in your query. If you like you can contact me thru my e-mail address: bozarthbeacon@hotmail.com
