Hi, I realize this is regarding a posting that is over a year old. After seeing your posting I felt inclined to present a factual accounting of our branch of the family. I would have preferred to respond to your posting directly, but you left no email address. Sorry to respond so lately, but I've spent the last few years getting my daughter over the loss of her mother, (she's 11 now, and I'm 48) and have not paid much attention to the Bozarth family history. I'm now just starting to play again, and have much information on our family. To resolve your interest in Roy Virgil, I'd like to give you a brief timeline of my heritage. Although I'm now known as Beau, I was born William B. Bozarth. (It's a long story). My father was Roy Harmon Bozarth, (Died Feb 14, 1974) and is buried in Pratt Cemetery in Pure Air, MO. His Father is Roy Virgil Bozarth, who was born September 18, 1895, and died sometime in April 1969 in Knoxville, IA. (I was at the funeral). Roy Virgil was married to Mary Bradbury/Thomas, and some others. Roy Virgil's father was William Hiram Bozarth, who was married to Jennie Kriser. William Hiram's father was William M. Bozarth, who was married to Jane Ringo. My father, Roy Harmon Bozarth, sometimes went by the name Roy Virgil Jr. Roy Harmon was married 5 times that I know of, and knowing him as I did, probably a couple more times. He had an interesting life. I know of a number of half brothers and sisters, one of them is also known as Roy Virgil Jr. and the last I knew he lived in California, although that was 25 years ago. Basically Roy Virgil Jr. (that you know of) and Roy Harmon are the same man. He played hard and died alone.
Cheers,
