Look what I found in The Odessan Newspaper on line this morning. The Odessan is in Odessa, Missouri. Thought some may be interested in seeing this.
Seven persons to be inducted into R-7 Foundation Hall of Fame
Seven persons who have distinguished careers in service to education will be honored at the third annual Odessa R-7 Public Foundation banquet on Saturday, April 8 at the Middle School gymnasium.
Those to be honored include Congressman Ike Skelton, who will receive the Friend of Education award, the late Youree and Gladys Adair, Helen Bozarth, Don Jeffries, Charlotte Laughlin and the late Marie Turner.
“Puttin’ on the Ritz” will be this year’s banquet theme. Activities will begin at 5 p.m., with a social hour. A prime rib dinner will be served at 6 p.m.
