I have some wonderful photos of some Bozarths that I have not confirmed are or are not part of my line. Someone sent them to me because their cousin died and she wanted to place them in a good home. The woman who died was named Peggy Williams (maiden)later Peggy Tyson and then Peggy Mattison. and her mother was Mabel Bozarth who married a man named Edward Williams, but he later legally changed his name to Edward Bozarth. A note I have says Peggy's father was a Bozarth on his mother's side. I did some research on this line with the small amount of information I have and found this:
The photos are from the family of C H Bozarth (Cary, Carry, Cory, Carrie, Charley and many other variations) who married Sarah Isabelle Shutt and moved to Portland, Oregon. They were married in Nebraska and he was born in McLean Co, IL and she was born in Tippecanoe, IN.
If I have the correct person, which I believe I do, I have found his parents to be Addison Bozarth and Mariah/Marie Kent and Addison's parents are John Bozarth and Cynthia Taylor. This is where I am stuck.
I have C H's descendants and am working my way down the line to see if I can find any direct descendants.
The children are, Albert, Elton L, Mabel Ruth, George Oliver and William Elias.
So far, I have checked 4 of the 5 children and have found one that may have living descendants. The Bozarth cousin who passed away is the last descendant of Mabel. It looks like Albert and Elton die without children, but I still have to confirm for certain.
George Oliver Bozarth married Louise Veronica Bozarth and had Wilbur Joseph Bozarth and Anabelle A. Bozarth. I haven't searched for a marriage for Anabelle or children for her yet and I have not searched for children of William Elias yet.
If anyone recognizes this line and thinks they can link them into the Bozarth line and maybe provide information that could lead us to living direct descendants would be fantastic!!
