The info I have is: John Boze (served in Revolution) & Katie Wells had: 1. Richard (served in Revolution) 2. Griffin (served in Revolution) 3. Hardy (tried to enlist, but only 14 yrs old, he served in War of 1812. 4. Katie (or Kittie). She married John Hastings, in Virginia, later they moved to Smith County, TN, then moved on. Nothing more known of them. 3. Hardy Boze married Peggy Brooks, circa 1790 in Halifax Cty, VA, then moved to Smith Cty, TN, in 1804. They had 12 children: 1. Nancy Griffin, b. ca. 1792 2. Susan 3. Peggy 4. Katy 5. John 6. William 7. Ann 8. Judith 9. James 10. Richard 11. Millie 12. Josiah I don't have birthdates for all. (4) Katy Boze married Charles Boulton, and they lived out their lives in Smith County, TN. (5) John Boze married 1) Sallie Perkins, 2) Parthenia Brown. I have no info on his children, and don't know if he stayed in Smith County. 9. James, 10. Richard, and 12. Josiah moved to southeast Missouri, circa 1850. Does any of this connect with your line? It seems the name Katy was popular in the family. It's likely the correct spellings were Catherine and only the nicknames got passed on to me.
