Here's everything that I know about my Catherine (Betsy) Boos.
She was born May 9, 1795 somewhere in KY.
She married Thomas Faith on June 2, 1814 in Lancaster, Fairfield Co. Ohio
Thomas Faith was b. 1789 in Somerset Co. PA. He served in the War of 1812.
Thomas & "Betsy" had 12 children, some were born in Ohio and some in IN.
They floated down the Ohio River to Louisville, KY and then traveled the old State Road (Midland Trail) to Daviess Co. IN. He is listed in the 1830 & 1840 Daviess Co. IN census.
He then appears in the 1850 & 1860 Martin Co. IN census with the 5 youngest children.
About 1870, Thomas & "Betsy" moved to Pleasant Hill, Cass County, Missouri, where they are both buried. He died in 1873 and she died in 1871.
Many similarities exist between our stories and I can't help thinking we should have a connection somewhere. Wish I knew more.
