The Boze family is part of my ancestry. I have a John Boze, born in Wales, married Katy Wells, of England, just across the Welsh border, born probably around 1730.
They came to the colonies (eloped, she was rich, he was poor, her daddy chased John away) and settled in Halifax County, Virginia Colony.
They had four children (that I know of): Richard, Griffin, Hardy, and Katie.
Hardy Boze migrated into Tennessee in 1804.
Does any of this fit into your line?
