John Braasch Germany>New York

I am looking for any information on my great great grandfather, John Braasch. All that I know of him is that he immigrated to the United States from either Hanover or Hamburg, Germany. He arrived, most likely with his wife, Sophie Mundt Braasch, in Baltimore, Maryland. The dates are somewhere between 1850-1870. The spelling of the name Braasch was changed to Brusch, perhaps after they arrived. They settled in Buffalo, New York and had 4 children. He worked on railroads, but I'm not sure where. He did have a sister, but I do not know her name. I do not know if he had other siblings, or who his parents were. Any help will be appreciated.
