I am researching my Ashton ancestry and have come across the following marriage cert:-

St. Cath Parish Church, Manchester, Lancashire
24th November, 1873

between

John Ashton 24 yrs. widower, paper hanger of 1 Abbey Grove Hulme. Father:- Thomas Ashton, Plasterer

and

Clara Ann Bradbury 19 yrs. spinster, of 1, Primrose St, Hulme.
Father:- Charles Bradbury, Pointsman.
