You're right that wouldn't be my Mary,All I have to go by is my grandmothers birth cert. giving what little info it does about her mother "Mary Elizabeth Bradley" being born in Ga. abt 1860. was married to William Thomas House born abt 1850 in Arkansas. My grandmother Ida Mae House was born 1883 in Texas. Considering that date I guess Mary could have been born as late as maybe 1865. I don't have an exact date for her. I know my gmother had brothers and/or sisters but have no idea of their names or dates so don,t know if she was oldest, youngest or in the middle. Good luck with your Mary and I'll keep looking for mine. Who knows one of us might find something to help the other.
