Hi,
My name is Jeff Halcomb. If during your search for a James Bradley, if you come across a James Bradley that was living in Buncombe County, NC in 1840 and in Yancey County, NC in 1850 and was married to Catharine (Brigman) Bradley I sure would appreciate any of the information that you may find. I assume that my James Bradley was married before he was with Catharine because in 1850 he was listed as 65 and Catharine was 32 according to the census taker. I'm trying to find out which Bradley family James is from.
What area is your James from? I will also let you know if I come across any information on the James you are looking for.
